| Ann Nguyen practices law at the Law Offices of Ann N. Nguyen in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in Oakland and San Jose. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy law, criminal law, and family law. She is duly licensed by the State Bar of California to practice law in the State of California. Nguyen is admitted to the federal courts of the Northern District of California and Eastern District of California. She has represented numerous debtors and creditors in federal bankruptcy court as well in adversary suits. Her bankruptcy clients include consumer debtors as well as small businesses and corporations. Nguyen has challenged multi-million dollar corporations which have ultimately resulted in a favorable settlement for her clients. In addition, Nguyen was a speaker on bankruptcy law at the National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys.
Prior to starting her own practice, she served as an associate attorney at a law firm practicing in the areas of business litigation, real estate law, and intellectual property law. Nguyen has an extensive law background, including In House Counsel for Coca Cola, the County Public Defender’s Office, and the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Nguyen earned her Bachelors of Arts in Business Economics Accounting in an ambitious three years from the University of California at Santa Barbara and earned her Juris Doctorate from a private law school where she was the President and Founding Member of the College of Law's Chapter of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and elected as a Student Bar Association Board Officer. Prior to law school, Nguyen received Congressional recognition and was entered in to the Congressional record by the United States Congress in Washington, D.C. Nguyen is active in bar and community service activities. She is the Vice President of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California and is a Board Member of the Bar Association of San Francisco Barristers Club. |
