| Cindy Mader focuses her practice on civil litigation specializing in employment law. As part of Ms. Mader’s employment practice, she conducts workplace training and provides counseling on preventative employment practices. Her experience includes representing clients in insurance litigation relating to individual and group life, health and disability policies, ERISA, securities-related matters and general commercial disputes.
Ms. Mader received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from UCLA in 1997 and her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 2000. While in law school, Ms. Mader served as a Senior Note and Comment Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review where she published The Vietnamese Stock Market: Viability in Southeast Asia and Appeal Around the World, 21 Loy. L.A. Int’l & Comp. L. Rev. 607 (1999). Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Mader worked in Los Angeles at civil litigation law firms and in 2004 moved to San Francisco to expand her litigation experience. Ms. Mader is actively involved with the Vietnamese Bar Association of Northern California (VABANC). She served as the 2006 Scholarship Dinner Chair, 2007 Secretary, 2008 Vice President, and as President last year. Ms. Mader was an involved member of the inaugural National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys (NCVAA) and served on the organizing committee in 2008. |
