Duyen Nguyen, Lafayette and Kumagai
Duyen Nguyen is an associate at Lafayette & Kumagai, LLP, a minority-owned attorney litigation firm with a clientele ranging from Fortune 500 companies to high profile clients such as former California Governor Jerry Brown. Ms. Nguyen’s practice encompasses a wide variety of complex business litigation matters spanning from employment disputes to trade-secret, publicity rights, unfair business practices, partnerships, class actions, insurance coverage, real-estate and healthcare matters. She is experienced in all phases of litigation, including mediations, arbitrations, trials and intensive electronic-document discovery. Ms. Nguyen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley where she studied abroad in Paris, France and graduated with high honors and Phi Beta Kappa distinction, and her Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in California, New York and the District of Columbia.
Ms. Nguyen currently is a past Young Lawyer Liaison to the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession and has served as a Bar Association of San Francisco delegate to the annual California Bar Conference of Delegates.
